Products — Gauze Woven at Our Own Factory
BLANKED KYOTO sells gauze textiles made by Nakamori Co., Ltd., a company whose roots go back to a weaving mill founded in 1951. Nakamori selects the yarn, designs the weave, weaves the cloth, and sews and inspects every product at its own factory in Gamagori, Aichi.
Gauze softens the more you wash it. In the shop you can handle the fabric and feel the lightness of multi-layer gauze before choosing. No reservation is needed to shop. Our textiles are popular as Kyoto souvenirs, baby gifts and presents.

About Nakamori's Gauze
The multi-layer weave structure developed by founder Tsukasa Nakase creates several gauze layers in a single weaving pass, rather than joining separate fabrics afterwards. The result is a fabric that holds air, feels soft and can be made in different thicknesses for different uses.
What You Can Weave
You can also weave your own cloth and take it home as a bookmark, omamori charm or sacoche bag.
